It is erotic power, drawing us into the pleasures of intimacy. It is both our personal and our tribal instinct for survival. It is our species' impulse for evolution, embedded within our physical being. It is the force provoking life to renew itself.

We can cultivate our pro-creative power with belly-energizing movement, breath, and body awareness. In this gathering, you'll witness a sequence of power-centering gestures that enact a Rite for Invoking the Sacred Feminine as she dwells within us and around us.

Come celebrate our sexual energy as a sacred trust, affirming the Power of Being abiding within us. As we do so, we know ourselves to be sacred beings.

Lisa Sarasohn is a yoga therapist, health educator, and bodywork therapist with 25 years' experience in the healing arts. She is certified as a Kripalu Yoga instructor at the advanced level and as a Kripalu Bodywork practitioner.

Lisa's essays and articles on various aspects of bodywork therapy have appeared in journals including Natural Health, Yoga Journal, Radiance, Personal Transformation. She has presented workshops at learning centers including Omega Institute and Kripalu Center. Her book, The Woman's Belly Book, is receiving international acclaim.
