thought and practice invite us to explore relationships between individual and
community, mind and spirit, the personal and transpersonal. In
this exploration, we seek a soulful sense of ourselves in intimate connection
with a nurturing universe. We seek to know, as mythologist Joseph Campbell suggested,
"the rapture of being alive." Drawing
on diverse cultural traditions, we'll inquire how we may reclaim this rapture
by moving into our vital center—the magnificent womb of creativity within
